Little People, Big Feelings

Your kid is not broken.
Their brain is doing exactly what it is built to do.

Here is the truth nobody told you at the pediatrician's office. You are not failing. Your child is not manipulating you. Once you see what is actually happening inside their brain during a meltdown, the whole thing stops being a mystery. And so does what you do about it.

Karen Wolfe, LMFT

If bedtime, mornings, or dinnertime keep turning into a battle, you have already tried harder than anyone around you can see.

More patience. More consistency. Stricter. Gentler. More structure. You have tried the whole list.

Here is why none of it sticks. You are aiming every single tool at the wrong part of your child's brain. It is not a discipline problem. It is a brain problem. And brain problems need a brain-based answer.

Little People, Big Feelings is the live support group for parents who are done white-knuckling it alone. Come get a real answer for the moment you are actually in, from someone who has sat with a thousand families exactly where you are now.

What you learned in the workshop was step one. Nobody expects you to carry the rest alone.

There are three shifts that change what a hard moment actually feels like in your house. I will walk you through each one, and then I will help you use them on your own kid.

1

See the signal

A meltdown is not a fight to win. It is a check engine light. It is telling you something is overloaded, and it needs you to read the signal, not punish the dashboard.

2

Flip the connection switch

Punishment is the on switch for the stress response. Connection is the off switch. You will learn how to stay close, hold the limit, and be the thermostat instead of the fire.

3

Build the reset into the ordinary days

The real work is not what you do in the crisis. It is the ten quiet minutes before it, the eye contact at the door, the hand on the back. Those small moments compound like interest, and they are how the pattern actually changes.

Here is who this is for. And who it is not.

  • Your child is under 10, and you feel like you have genuinely tried everything.
  • You want to feel calm and capable the next time the big feelings show up, not just lucky.
  • You want tools built on connection, not another way to get faster compliance.
  • You want a real person to bring your actual kid and your actual hard moment to, not a generic script.
  • If you are here for a way to make your child behave faster, this is not your room. That is not what we do.

Staylistening is not permissive parenting. Do not confuse the two.

Your job is to stay close, keep everyone safe, and let the feelings move through. Your child's job is to release the stress, however it comes out, crying, shaking, even laughing. When it is done, the thinking brain comes back online, and so does cooperation.

Here is exactly what happens once you are in.

First

You show up with a real scenario.

Not a polished question. The actual bedtime fight from Tuesday, the meltdown in the grocery store, the moment you have replayed in your head all week.

Next

I work through it with you, live, on the call.

You get a real answer for your real kid. And you watch me do the same for other parents, so you start to see the pattern underneath every family's version of hard.

Then

The recording goes straight into your library.

Every call, every workshop, every script lives in one place. So when life gets loud again next month, you are not starting from zero.

My private session rate is $300 an hour. This membership is your ongoing seat at the table, month after month, for a fraction of that. Bring the moments that do not fit inside a five-minute parenting tip.

You can keep doing this alone. Or you can stop spending your year fighting the same fight.

Do the math with me for a second. Ninety minutes of bedtime conflict a night is 10 hours a week. That is 520 hours a year. Twenty-one full days spent fighting with your own kid. What else could that time be?

I am not selling you perfect parenting. Nobody has that. I am offering you the thing that actually changes the math: knowing exactly what to do when it gets hard, and having someone in your corner while you practice it.

Here is the deal

$497 for 90 days

Then $197/month · Cancel anytime after the first 90 days

Try it for 90 days. Come to the calls. Use the library. Be part of the community. If it does not help, I will give you your money back. No catch, no hoops, no having to prove you did the work.

What parents usually ask me before they join

What ages is this for?

Parents of kids under 10. The zero-to-six window is where these tools do the most work, but I have watched families with 8-year-olds turn things around too. The brain is more flexible than people think.

What if my partner is not on board?

You do not need your partner to agree before you start. One parent can shift the pattern. I have watched it happen in nearly every group. One parent starts, the child changes, and the other parent comes around on their own.

I already tried gentle parenting and it did not work.

Gentle parenting without the brain science underneath it is just being nice while nothing actually changes. This gives you the why behind every response, plus a live call where we practice what to do in the moment gentle alone cannot handle.

What if my child has ADHD or sensory issues?

The brain science underneath this is universal. In fact, kids with ADHD or sensory differences often respond even faster to a connection-based approach, because their nervous systems pick up the signal quicker. Bring your child's specific profile to the calls and we will work it through together.

Your child was never broken.
They just needed you to understand how their brain works.
